Don't read books that are hard for you. These are books that someone should read to you and you can follow along.

Helping Your Child Be A Better Reader
The child who develops a love for reading gains a lifelong desire to read and learn. Read over these tips for helping your child be a better reader.
· Encourage your child to read to younger brothers and sisters, or friends and relatives.
· After reading a books, your child can do some fun activities involving story characters.
Use a sock to make a puppet of a character.
Make bookmarks about the story characters.
Write a note to a character in the story.
· Visit a public library with your child. Help him or her get a library card. Show him or her through the children?s section of the library. Attend special children?s programs too.
· Encourage your child to read quietly for ten minutes before going to bed.
· When you sort the mail, let your child open and read the ?junk mail? that you plan to discard.
· Take books along on car trips and to appointments so your child has reading materials handy!
