Fabulous February
The shortest month has finally arrived and spring is just around the corner. Some of the upcoming events in 3rd grade are the 100th day of school, Madison Historical Museum/ State Capitol field trip, and a Valentine’s Day Party.
We’ll celebrate the 100th day of school on Monday, Feb. 6th. Students are encouraged to bring in 100 of any item they choose(buttons, Cheerios, pennies).
The Madison field trip is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15th. The third & fourth grades will be heading down to visit the Madison Historical Museum/ State Capitol.
Our Valentine’s party is scheduled for Tues., Feb. 14. I’ll be sending home class lists and party sign-up sheets. The end of the month party will be scheduled on Friday, March 2nd. ALL reading calendars/AR Points will be due 2/29.
As we move into our multiplication/division units, it would be a great idea to work with flashcards on basic multiplication/division facts through 9.
