New this year in the counseling department are Eighth Grade Conferences.  Several dates and times have been set aside in November for me to meet with parents along with their son or daughter to review their school accomplishments and to look forward to the future in high school and beyond.  

For classroom guidance, I will visit each classroom twice a month.  I look forward to working with the students again!

Parents or students who have a concern about personal issues or who seek more information on specific topics can contact me or Mrs. Fier, our school psychologist, and we can assist you in getting the answers you seek.  There are free pamphlets available on the table in the lobby.  We also have additional pamplet topics in our office, so please ask if you don't see what you're looking for.

There will be more information made available regarding the Safe Schools Healthy Student grant, of which Neosho School is a recipient (along with seven other county districts).  Based on the Parent Survey completed last spring, we hope to offer some Parent Education events this year.  Look for information on those in your weekly envelope or on the school website.
